Driving a spyder is an adrenaline-fueled experience. And the Huracán Evo Spyder was designed to take this thrill to the extreme. Colors, smells and sounds come together with a seductive design and ultra-light materials. Its 640 hp V10 shakes and roars with fury, the supersport exhaust solo dominates everything. The aerodynamic lines, perfect and tapered, cut through the air, while running on the wave of the purest driving pleasure.
Follow the thrill to touch the sky with a finger.
With the Huracán Evo Spyder, all it takes is 17 seconds to open its ultra-light convertible top – 17 seconds to touch the sky. And thanks to its revolutionary command center, the Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics (LDVI), you can experience the thrill of exceptional performance.
The LDVI is able to anticipate desire, making it possible to have a fluid, intuitive, and truly unique on-board experience, based on driver input, the surrounding environment, and the chosen driving mode: the exciting and fun SPORT, the thrill-inducing CORSA, and the comfortable and agile STRADA.
The Evo Spyder was designed with the aim of eliminating the roof, without having to sacrifice any of the car’s aerodynamics or torsional stiffness.
The brand’s original, iconic lines and proportions have been enhanced through elegant aerodynamic solutions, faithful to Lamborghini’s timeless design, which lives in every detail. From the front bumper to the cuts in the front hood, from the air intakes on the side skirt to the exhausts, it speaks one language only: that of a natural evolution, capable of adapting to the most state-of-the-art technologies, but without neglecting the beauty of pure lines that stand out against the sky.
The interior perfectly mirrors the evolutionary design of the Huracán EVO Spyder.
The cockpit features a cutting-edge 8.4” touchscreen system built into the central tunnel, which makes it possible to control the car and entertainment functions with a tap of your fingertips. The exclusive interior finishes, stemming from authentic Italian design, are made with the finest-quality materials: the upholstery is available in leather, Alcantara and Carbon Skin®, an innovative carbon fiber material exclusively available with Lamborghini. All these details make the on-board experience even more unique and refined.
All the systems that control driving dynamics have been updated and new technologies have been introduced to guarantee maximum performance to the EVO Spyder. The Lamborghini Inerziale Platform (LPI) provides the exact description of the car's behavior in real time. The dynamic vertical vehicle is managed through magnetorheological suspensions (LMS), the lateral one is controlled by a steering system that involves the four wheels through Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) and Lamborghini All-wheel Steering (LAWS) with the aid of constant distribution of torque between the two axles (AWD) and the torque vectoring which, together with the traction control, also determine longitudinal dynamics. All these systems are governed by the Lamborghini Dinamica Integrated Vehicle (LDVI), a single controller capable of interpreting the pilot's intentions and turning them into the desired behavior of the vehicle. The driving emotion thus becomes unparalleled within the segment.
Lamborghini Dinamica Integrated Vehicle (LDVI) is the technological brain of the EVO Spyder, able to coordinate a complete and sophisticated system for driving dynamics management. Depending on the inputs of the pilot, the external environment and the selected driving mode, he anticipates the wishes of the driver, passing from a feedback logic to a feed forward, from reaction to anticipation: this is the true evolution.
Even the new man-machine interface is pure expression of a natural and technological evolution. The dematerialisation of the classic buttons contrasts with an 8.4 "multi-touch capacitive screen in the central tunnel. With the touch of your fingers you can control all driving dynamics, manage entertainment functions, receive real-time traffic information and adapt the interior lights to the current driving mode.
An advanced connectivity never seen before on Huracán, which is joined by a new telemetry with two cameras, to improve one's driving skills.
The design of the EVO Spyder is studied in detail to improve aerodynamics.
The front splitter facilitates a double passage of air in the underbody, where the new deflectors allow an additional aerodynamic load, 5 times greater than the previous Huracán, which crushes the car downwards, for an incredible driving experience, both while braking and acceleration, both curved.
To this is added, in the rear, a new suspended spoiler to channel the air in a more aerodynamic way.
Totally renewed and redesigned, with an optimized fluid dynamics in both intake and exhaust, this engine is the naturally aspirated V10 with the highest specific power. The new intake ducts derive from the Lamborghini Motorsport experience and allow improving the response to each speed, the double clutch transmission (LDF) has been further refined and is now able to satisfy even the highest performances. All this is enclosed in the even more vibrant and exciting sound of the new lightweight exhaust system.
The suspension architecture of the Huracán EVO Spyder forms overlapping quadrilaterals that guarantee a perfect balance between vehicle usability and sports performance. The magnetorheological shock absorber system reacts instantly to the driver's driving style and adapts to road conditions and driving dynamics, improving car control.
The Huracán EVO Spyder is equipped with Electronic Power Steering (EPS), a system that adapts perfectly to all driving styles, always guaranteeing the right assistance, on the track and on the road, satisfying all the driving modes of the ANIMA.
The EPS is accompanied by the Lamborghini Dynamic Steering system (LDS), which allows the dynamic variation of the steering ratio, which varies according to the dynamic conditions of the vehicle.
The Huracán EVO Spyder offers a unique combination between the active steering system (Lamborghini Dynamic Steering) and the rear one (Lamborghini All-wheel Steering), to guarantee top-level dynamic performance. The LDS system adapts to the speed and driving mode selected by the driver by switching from direct steering to a more indirect one, while the LAWS system manages the rear steering axle thanks to two electromechanical actuators. Thanks to this system, at low speeds the rear axle steers in the opposite direction to the front one, leading to a virtual reduction of the wheelbase, which translates into greater agility and unattainable cornering performance. At high speed, however, the two axes rotate in parallel: this generates a virtual increase in pitch,
Imagine being able to have two changes in the same unit: while first gear is engaged, the next is already selected to reduce gearshift times and ensure that the clutch is instantaneously and as smoothly as possible, thanks to the opening of a clutch and the closure of the other. This is what the Huracán EVO Spyder is able to give you, thanks to the Lamborghini Double-clutch 7-speed gearbox (LDF).
The all-wheel drive system is electronically controlled and ensures greater speed and accuracy in transferring torque between the axles. All this translates into greater control in all driving conditions. The system continuously varies the distribution based on the selected driving mode and the response of the road. The result is exhilarating: better power transfer when cornering and accelerating when driving and, at the same time, greater traction and safety in everyday driving.
