EMOTION

The Lamborghini driving experience is not easy to convey with a simple definition: exceptional performance, cutting-edge technology and perfect aerodynamics. But there is an element of which our future absolutely cannot do without: the real emotions. To the impeccable dynamics of the vehicle and to the performance qualities of the new naturally aspirated V12 770 hp engine, the excellence of the design is added, where precious and exclusive materials come into symbiosis with an ultralight bodywork. Because the future that we imagine can take shape when aesthetic perfection does not compromise, and does not renounce a performance without equal and a creepy aerodynamics.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

Ultra-lightweight materials conceived for maximum performance give rise to breathtaking design: that’s what makes the new Aventador SVJ unique and unrivaled. Enhanced aerodynamic profiles, a fully redesigned front, larger side skirts, the omega-shaped rear wing and lighter, higher exhaust outlets are implanted into the featherlight carbon fiber chassis, which is equipped with wisely-distributed air intakes that are both different and larger than on any previous model. Lightness and performance in constant pursuit of each other.

INTERIOR

The technological aspect of carbon fiber, present in the monocoque that gives shape to the passenger compartment and shown in the doors, seats, central tunnel and console, coexists with an aeronautical-inspired design, in which the leather and Alcantara ® of the coatings give the luxurious interior a gritty touch of exclusivity. But it is the refined details of the crossed seams and the important presence of the internal SVJ plate that makes the character of this new jewel of mechanics with an ultra-refined aesthetic unique.

4 WHEEL STEERING

The new Aventador SVJ Roadster offers a unique combination between the active steering system (Lamborghini Dynamic Steering) and the rear one (Lamborghini Rear-wheel Steering), to offer a top-level dynamic performance. The LDS system adapts to the speed and driving mode selected by the driver by switching from direct steering to a more indirect one, while the LRS system manages the rear steering axle thanks to two electromechanical actuators. Thanks to this system, at low speeds the rear axle steers in the opposite direction to the front one, leading to a virtual reduction of the wheelbase, which translates into greater agility and unattainable cornering performance. At high speed, on the other hand, the two axes rotate parallel: this generates a virtual increase in wheelbase, thus ensuring full control of the car and great stability.

4 ACTIVE SUSPENSION

The new Aventador SVJ Roadster has magneto-rheological front and rear shock absorbers with pushrod system, which constantly change the behavior of the suspension depending on the conditions of the road and the driving mode selected by the driver. In addition to compensating for unwanted body roll and body movements, the system was specifically designed to work together with the Rear-wheel Steering System, thus ensuring a perfect response in all conditions, and guaranteeing ALA to maximize efficiency and downforce, while maintaining constant aerodynamic flow generated between the ground and the ground in all trim conditions.

4 WHEEL DRIVE

The all-wheel drive system of the new Aventador SVJ Roadster has been optimized to work specifically with all new active systems, in particular the Rear-wheel Steering, whose stabilizing effect allows for a high percentage of torque distributed on the rear wheels . This provides a more sporty and fun feeling, without compromising on safety and ease of driving. The all-wheel drive system guarantees the possibility of maximizing performance and driving pleasure in situations involving poor grip and works in symbiosis with all other active systems in the car. The torque distribution between the front and rear axles varies dynamically in real time, depending on the driving mode chosen by the driver, the driving and grip conditions. 4 DRIVING MODES

In any driving condition you are in, the new Aventador SVJ Roadster allows you to have full control thanks to the dynamic mode selector, which optimally adjusts the engine, gearbox, traction, steering, suspension and stability control according to the mode chosen between ROAD, SPORTS, RACING and EGO MODE. This last Driving Mode allows you to customize every single setting, to give life to the most personal driving experience ever. By decoupling longitudinal, lateral and vertical dynamics, the EGO mode allows you to always get the maximum performance from the car, in any condition.

ENGINE

The indomitable 12-cylinder engine from Aventador SVJ Roadstersi stands out for its excellent design and advanced material technology. With its 770 hp at 8,500 rpm and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds, the Aventador SVJ offers unique driving emotions never experienced before.

EXCHANGE

The ISR (Independent Shifting Rods) gearbox ensures fast and highly exciting gear changes. The design objective was simple: to create an extremely fast robotized gearbox capable of arousing unique emotions. Furthermore, the ISR gearbox offers two important advantages in the construction of super sports cars: an extremely low weight and even smaller dimensions than those of a manual gearbox.

MONOCOQUE
