EXTERIOR DESIGN

Refinement, aggressiveness, lightness and aerodynamics of aeronautical inspiration. The beauty, power and performance of SVJ Roadster are guaranteed by ultra-light materials, such as carbon fiber, used for the bodywork and the removable rigid roof. On the first, larger air intakes are distributed over each previous model and more extended side skirts are fitted, accentuated aerodynamic profiles and a lighter and higher exhaust system.

The rigid roof instead is made with an innovative high pressure RTM mold technology, which guarantees a product of excellent workmanship and very high quality. Even the bonnet, front fender and doors are made of ultra-light materials, helping to significantly reduce the weight of the car, where every detail is never an end in itself, where emotions are the expression of a gritty performance.

INTERIOR

The technological aspect of carbon fiber, present in the monocoque that gives shape to the passenger compartment and shown in the doors, seats, central tunnel and console, coexists with an aeronautical-inspired design, in which the leather and Alcantara ® of the coatings give the luxurious interior a gritty touch of exclusivity. DRIVING DYNAMICS

Each of the systems that acts inside the Lamborghini is a masterpiece of engineering and technology, and the Aventador SVJ Roadster combines all the best technologies developed to date by Lamborghini technicians. The vehicle side dynamics is controlled by a steering system that involves the four wheels, through Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) and Lamborghini Rear-wheel Steering (LRS) with the aid of the use of constant torque distribution between the two axles (4WD ) and the air torque vectoring (ALA). The vertical vehicle dynamics is managed through magneto-rheological suspensions (LMS) and active aerodynamics. The ALA system actively varies the aerodynamic load to achieve high downforce or low resistance, depending on dynamic conditions. 4 WHEEL STEERING

The new Aventador SVJ Roadster offers a unique combination between the active steering system (Lamborghini Dynamic Steering) and the rear one (Lamborghini Rear-wheel Steering), to offer a top-level dynamic performance. The LDS system adapts to the speed and driving mode selected by the driver by switching from direct steering to a more indirect one, while the LRS system manages the rear steering axle thanks to two electromechanical actuators. Thanks to this system, at low speeds the rear axle steers in the opposite direction to the front one, leading to a virtual reduction of the wheelbase, which translates into greater agility and unattainable cornering performance. At high speed, on the other hand, the two axes rotate parallel: this generates a virtual increase in wheelbase, thus ensuring full control of the car and great stability.

4 ACTIVE SUSPENSION

The new Aventador SVJ Roadster has magneto-rheological front and rear shock absorbers with pushrod system, which constantly change the behavior of the suspension depending on the conditions of the road and the driving mode selected by the driver. In addition to compensating for unwanted body roll and body movements, the system was specifically designed to work together with the Rear-wheel Steering System, thus ensuring a perfect response in all conditions, and guaranteeing ALA to maximize efficiency and downforce, while maintaining constant aerodynamic flow generated between the ground and the ground in all trim conditions.

4 WHEEL DRIVE

The all-wheel drive system of the new Aventador SVJ Roadster has been optimized to work specifically with all new active systems, in particular the Rear-wheel Steering, whose stabilizing effect allows for a high percentage of torque distributed on the rear wheels .
